What I love #2
17/02/2009
1. Tact. Some of friends don’t know the meaning of this word. There are some things that peoples don’t need to know, especially friends. Seriously, think, whether what you are going to tell them is going to affect them positively. If not then seriously consider do you really need to tell them? Some people will tell me they just need to grow up. I agree, but do you have to tell them everything?
2. Homework. Homework’s great. I eat it for breakfast, lunch and tea. No really I’ve been doing so much homework that I’ve pretty much given up going out on weekends. Before you say, “Jackson you don’t go out regardless.” I mean for regular stuff I usually have on. I have not had a decent conversation with anyone on MSN. The funny thing is that I could simply just compromise on the quality of the homework. But then I guess that’s VCE.
3. Music. Ironically, just as I was about to start this paragraph the music shuffled (yes shuffled) to Good Riddance, the Class of 2004 Parkhill graduation song. Megan gave me 4 and half hours worth of music. It’s mostly lovey, dovey song, so if anyone has anything else I would love to get it from you. Seriously I would love to.
It’s fun listening to music though whilst doing homework, you don’t get distracted as my headphones are ear mufflers
4. Badminton. I travelled to Geelong this week, and played Badminton for the open seconds team. I played first seed singles and first double. I won the single in straight sets but Alan Peng fails too much at double. It was really fun actually playing watching everyone else, and yelling at Julian thanking him for his “support.” It’s such a great way to unwind.
5. Maths. Man, I have to write about maths this week. I lost at least 5 marks on my practise SAC/topic test yesterday out of 54. That’s only a bit over 90% and they were really silly mistakes. ***REALLY SILLY MISTAKES***. And now I’m shitting myself because I have my SAC next Wednesday
