Hey guys! Been a busy little bee last few weeks so I apologise for not updating. After seeing Alice update her blog about 20 times, I figured I was over due for one.
My computer got fried. I kept trying to charge my computer with a charger that was increasingly becoming frayed and I think that short -circuited my battery. So now, I can't charge my battery on my old laptop. I lost a few photos and a few programs that I would have liked to keep. But, I backed up most of my photos so not too much of value was lost.
3/4's of the way through University. Time has been tight, but I've still been managing to watch all my TV shows, procrastinate, hang out with friends and watch youtube. There never seems time to study.
I saw 'The Avengers' a few weeks back. It really has to be one of my top 5 movies I've ever seen. It was the perfect mix of comedy and action, with really strong character development. It was technically sound and featured a very strong cast, well suited to their characters.
It was during the movie, that I realise how awesome it is to be a nerd. There was one point in the movie where, Captain America asked if they were a submarine. However, being the giant nerd that I am, I knew it was the Shield Helicarrier. I knew the characters back stories and so there were a lot of jokes that would have been lost to others.
At points, I've wondered what my life would be life, if I wasn't so focused on the pursuits that I do. Lets be honest, not many of hobbies I enjoy doing are paticualry non-nerdy.
I mean, lets me be honest no one is going to be friends with me because of the way I dress or because I'm amazing at sports.
Nor are they going to be friends with me for my charm and tact.
And I'm ok with that.
Also, I have absolutely 0 leadership quality. Like Nada. Zilch. Zipo. Ze. Ro. I'm like my father in many ways but I never inherited any of his leadership qualities.
