2012 Birthday

Hey Guys! October has been an hectic month so far. I've got a few posts I need/want to write for here but I think before anything else I write, I need to say a big thank you to my friends.

On the Saturday just past, I invited my friends out to pool, dinner, ice skating and drinks. Whilst we never got to ice skating. It was an amazing night.

My birthdays have always been understated and small. Usually its just my family and a few friends. In the last few years they've grown a bit, but there are still some core ideas that never seemed to have changed.

Looking at everyone who came, I think everyone has been on this blog at least once if not more.

It really quite touching that so many of my friends came out to my birthday. Despite exams just around the corner in literally a few days for some, some who forewent their end of year drinks to be in the city (which I'm not sure how they got to because Monash has no roads.... moving on!)

For the night I decided to not receive presents and rather fund raise money for charity. Altogether, there was 180 dollars in that envelope at the end of the night. I haven't decided which charity to donate to, but when I do I'll make sure to post an screenshot of the transaction/donation.

To my friends; there are times, when you stop are you realise, there is no other place you'd rather be at that exact moment. It was then, sitting around that dinner table, seeing everyone enjoy their meal, chatting away to other friends, smiling and simply having a good time, I had that moment. I was able to catch up with friends who I otherwise wouldn't be able to. And the fact that everyone were able to get along, having not met each other before was extraordinary.
