Instincts, Facebook and Friends

Hey guys! I've donated the 180 dollars that I collected from my birthday to Beyond Blue, a charity which hits a little closer to home than all the others I considered. I know some of you were sceptical about whether I was actually scamming you guys.

Second year of my course has finished. Not going to lie this year was a lot harder than the previous year. Even though at the start of the year I predicted  that it would be a long year, I didn't think it'd be to so long. 

I based that prediction on my  own gut. There was no real reason for me thinking that and if there's anything I've learnt is that my gut is very accurate.

Which is not to say  you should just ignore all the evidence on the table and but like ' YO, I DON'T CARE WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAYS, I THINK I'M RIGHT, SO I'M GOING TO IGNORE YOU' I mean really, our gut are just like, 'Be blind, I don't think you're right'

So it really comes down who do you trust, your instincts or your brain. More often than not I trust my gut, leading to more impulsive, less consistent and more amusing consequences. 

These consequences have led to argument, but at the end of the day I think its done more good than harm. This charity thing was such an occasion.

So Facebook, has this seen feature where like you can see who has seen your posts in groups and stuff. Shit my face, if being able to see who has read your message and who hasn't wasn't enough this pisses me off even more.

I mean, lets be honest I'm permanently on Facebook, sad I  know.

But seriously, I'm afk most of the time and when I hear a ping from a message I'm going to read it. But 9 times out of 10 I'm not going to reply, because I don't want to be distracted or I just cannot be bothered.

And I think thats pretty acceptable. This new seen feature, god damn it makes me sad. I feel bad for not responding. 

So, yeah if I don't respond to your message, I'm ignoring you only temporarily. Probably.

Ah, back to study. Ooo Revenge just finish downloading. Season 2 Episode 4, probably the best  episode of Tv. Ever. Period
