Dignity and Fun

Hey guys!

Another late night and I get to write a blog on the train. I've drafted this a few times, but never found the right photos for it.

Which to be fair, sometimes the photos I choose doesn't make any sense at all. But I think, I've found photos which are appropriate.

When we were young, we didn't have much responsibility. We didn't have to answer for our actions as much as we did as we grew up.

Finally, when we're old enough, we were granted responsibility.

And then it starts, our own actions dictated by our decisions.

When we were young we could do what we want and have fun being silly.

Don't get me wrong, being silly and having fun go together like peas in a pod.

But there comes a difference between the sometimes and the only way or being silly and just losing your dignity.

And then there's something wrong when it becomes normal.

I mean, I'm not saying being silly and is a terrible way to have fun. Far from it. I'm just saying that there's a line where having fun at the cost of your own dignity is simply not worth it.

There are plenty of ways to have fun and preserve you dignity. Its just when it becomes other ways to have fun becomes so accepted, the more reserved way just seems old and too traditional.

Which I feel is extremely unfair. I mean a lot of things are extremely unfair, but when people say "Oh, live life Jackson," I feel that's unfair.

I am living life, I just choose it to do it another way. In a more reserved, dignified way.
