The Difference between Strong Opinions and STRONG OPINIONS

Hey guys! Yay, another week closer to our break, another week closer to graduation.

Apparently its only 90 days until Christmas.

Christmas! Already!

I'm writing another blog from the train again. Usually this time is reserved for me just crash and think about study and stuff like that.

Speaking of today, the staff union at my university called for a general strike today.

I wasn't affected at all. Just cross the picket line like it was anyone elses business. What was more amusing was that it was prosh week. I hope the irony weren't lost on people.

This blog, like me, has always polarized people. I think a lot of things about me polarises people to a very extreme extent. It has never really bothered me all that much.

I think its ok to have strong opinions. I mean, sure no one is ever going to say strong opinions never hurt anyone. But weak opinions never got anything done either.

The main thing about strong opinions is that you should always have an open mind where you're willing to change your mind. Its one thing to have a strong opinion, but its completely different to have a strong opinion and completely shut out the world that disagrees with it.

I use to hate dancing. Absolutely hated it. It wasn't like, holy crap, I have a mortal phobia of the dance floor, but I would avoid it where I could. I didn't know what to do with myself on the dance floor (to be honest that probably hasn't changed) and I was really rather self-conscious on the dance floor.

After a few times of being not entirely sober and enjoying myself I grew to like it and now, I thoroughly look forward to tearing up the dance floor.

I say that in the most ironic way possible.

When you see something that's being done better than what you're doing, when you see something being done that's good for you; these are the time you need to think about your own views. When you ignore, good things, when you ignore the world how is the world going to see you.
