God damn, job hunting is ridiculously stupid. I finally had a week off from the 21sts, and still spent it drinking. :P:P:P:P. More coming up! It should be fun.
So Essendon got punished for their supplement scandal. The punishment handed down by the AFL was strong but in no way decisive.
It should be noted that Essendon made every attempt to prolong and sensationalise the saga. In a matter which could have been handled quickly and without as much damage to the game's reputation, the problem became a massive media circus that did not focus on the issue at hand but rather focuses on the personalities which the people followed. The AFL spoke at lengths about how it would have rather have handled it.
The sanctions handed down by the AFL were adequate, reflecting the mistakes that the club made which were serious enough to cause such a fuss in the public's eye.
As the AFL continues to grow and moves away from this drama, other clubs and would be cheaters (because, Essendon can rightfully be branded cheaters,) will think twice; looking at their own chain of command and their own policies.
So in summary. Suck it Essendon.
Australia gets to choose her Prime Minister on Saturday for the next few years. Woo, get excited. I mean, not going to lie, his year's candidates aren't the best that we've ever had. Still, the public's general lack of knowledge of the competing policy is disturbingly bad.
You can't not care about who leads your country. I mean, its like saying, I don't care about my future. Australia has a system in place where you get a say in the future.
There's plenty of other places where you can read about how soldiers died for your rights to vote or all the things they sacrificed, but I think the most important reason to vote is to show that you care about your country's future.
But you know, everyone's knows Abbot is nothing more than a parrot.
I deleted Facebook from my phone. Firstly, because it was using up way too much of my tiny 200 mb a month cap. Secondly, and more importantly, I really use that thing way too much. I really don't need to see what everyone is doing on Facebook when I'm not at home or when I'm on the train. There are so many better ways I could spend my time instead of doing that.
So if you need to reach me, don't use Facebook message anymore. In order of priority,
Call me
Message me
Snapchat.
Actually never snap chat me.
