Its been a while again. With exams and what not, I just never could justify the time to write a blog.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who came to my birthday. Every year, I'm always stunned at the amount of people who come to my birthday. I mean, when you invite 30 people, you expect 15 to come, not 20 and certainly not everyone bar a very few.
People still surprise me. For someone who prides himself on understanding people, people still surprise me. When so many friends come, when so many people sacrifice valuable exam time, a Saturday night, money from lost shifts, when a friend travels hundreds of kilometers, when a friend volunteers to takes your photos, when they come from their own birthdays, their siblings birthday and when they simply just show up
I remember how lucky I am. Thank you everyone for coming, thank you for coming and putting up with me for another year. I know I can be rash, I know I'm brazen and I know I don't always appreciate my friends. Know that today, yesterday, tomorrow and everyday, I'm grateful.

This year, everyone donated 235 dollars and 10 cents to BeyondBlue. This was more than last year and I hope I can continue this tradition. Please visit https://www.beyondblue.org.au/ if you would like to know more.
I finished my last class in Melbourne University Bachelor of Science. Was it worthwhile, yeah, I'd like to think so. Melbourne University was not what I expected. Yeah, I wish the classes were a little more hand on and a little less theory based. Engineering at Melbourne, has taught me how to work in groups and work with friends to get the right answer.
When, I look back its not necessarily all the balls or the BBQ or any of the university events. Its the late nights in the computer labs, the hours doing practice exams, the questions during lectures and group assignments which I think is the most learning has been had. Its how to get things done as part of a group that I think I've learnt the most from.
A lot of my friends, I've met through engineering. Maybe its because we have something in common, maybe its something as simple as having something to talk about, maybe its because we're being forced to see each other day in, day out.
Regardless, if nothing else Melbourne has given me that.
