Yeah go on laugh, none of you think I can do it.
Arguing with people is just simply too arduous now. Really like, arguing use to be fun and people would make points backed up appropriately with evidence, their points would be well thought out and one would actually learn something.
Now its just a slanging match, where no one can produce a decent point besides, "oh I'm entitled to my own opinion." Really, you're not entitled to your own opinion when you can't back them up with any evidence, you can't say something is bad when you can't suggest alternatives.
You sure as hell shouldn't be able to block your ears and screaming lalalalalala, ignoring all the things that are said.
When you say you're chatting with mates or talking around the family dinner table or at a lecture, you can't just ignore everything being said. Doing so is just disrespectful. You don't have to agree with everything thats said, but you have to listen. If they're your friends and they're you're family then you are required to listen.
Too often this doesn't happen and really there's no point getting worked up for something where you're not going to get anything from it. Which really sucks, because you use to be able to learn a lot from arguments.
So I don't check my Facebook news feed anymore. This is coming from who's on the computer 24/7. You would think Facebook would be like my bread and butter. Not having to know whats going on in the lives of all your acquaintances is again no big loss. There's a lot less arguments that you see, a lot less posts and less thigns to get worked up about.
Facebook has lost that magic, where you use to see cool and interesting things from your friends. Now its photos of food, a chance to show off, that you've been to your latest party or club and using Facebook events as your planner.
Something is missing, when you have to use Facebook events to invite someone. I can see how its convenient, but really something aren't suppose to be easy.
