Broken Friends, the Lack of Unknown

Hey guys! Why are there so many movies about inspirational teachers yet, not a single movie about inspirational engineers? Society please.

There are some things that no matter how hard you work at it, you simply can't get to work. When I was younger I broke a remote control toy. You know those ones where they go really fast, have really high maximum speed, unwieldy and hard to control. I spent so much of my time with that stupid car, crashing it around, known pretend buildings over and what not. One day it took one too many bumps and stop responding to the remote.

I know. Sick story Jackson.

Somethings aren't meant to be fixed. At some point you just need to let them go. Enjoy them for a year and once they break don't bother fixing it.

I mean, you can patch it up all you like but once it breaks once, you know where the flaws are. You can tape it, to hide its holes or you can justify why the toy is still great. Annoyingly though, you know you're just putting off the inevitable, when the toy will sit at back of your cupboard. For old times sakes, you don't have the courage to quite throw it away but given time the toy becomes forgotten.

Sometimes with friends, it's the same way.

So really just never play with the toy at the start, amirite.

Blergh.

The other day the radio was talking about how we don't have discussions anymore. I mean, everything we want to know is just there on the internet, a few clicks away in a device we keep in our pockets. With technology, we've forgotten how to discuss the unknown.

Ladybugs, are they all ladies? I don't know, but we don't really need to talk about it we can just google it and find an experts opinion and scientific fact. There is something lost in the search and quest for knowledge.

When we have the world at our fingertips, there is nothing to drive us to find the unknown.
