Names, Concerts and Other Things
Names; how are you supposed to remember them. They’re literally some word your parents give us so that you are easily identifiable. I don’t know how to remember anyone’s name. Probably because I don’t make enough an effort to remember people’s name and probably because I call everyone mate. Which you know, is fine if you’re meeting them once or something but it’d still be nice to know their name rather then you know, that guy I worked with or that guy’s sister or brother.
You introduce yourself to me and then their name just goes right through one ear and out through the other.
I went to a concert last night. It was absolutely magical. A lot of fun. I don’t know if it was the dancing or belting out the lyrics with the thousand other people at the concert, the concert was better than I expected. Sure, a little apprehensive before going, but when everyone is dancing and singing along you don’t worry too much about being judged as well. The concert experience is as much a part of being a part of that crowd then it is about the music. The warm up acts gave me something to Google once I got home because they too were great.
The only thing was the cost but all in all, probably worth doing once or twice.
And my friend makes a good point, it’s important to remember to do something for yourself regardless of how many hours you’re putting in at work or how many hours of study you have. It’s always nice to have something to talk about besides work. Always nice to have something to talk about when asked about what did you do last week. Better than nothing right. Better than just work.
