Jokes, Pauline Hanson and Large Sized Meals

You know what I don't get?

a. Why people find it bad trait to laugh at your own jokes. Laughing at your own jokes is literally the definition of not taking yourself too seriously. By all means, laugh at everyone elses jokes, let them know you think they're funny, but remember to laugh at your own jokes. Thinking yourself is funny means you appreciate that you can mess up and that it isn't all work and no fun.

Besides why wouldn't I laugh at the funniest person I know.

And you should be able to make yourself laugh on a whim. To cheer yourself up when you need to. When you know how to cheer yourself up, make others laugh is a little easier. Making yourself laugh is the hardest

b. People reacting to Pauline Hanson. Don't hate Pauline Hanson  because she's a redneck, redhead and she's white. If you're going to be critical of someone, you need to be critical of what they say, not how she says it. Cheap shots like a lot of those taken on QnA last Monday, only justifies some of her responses. Cheap shots make you no better than Hanson is.

Take what she says at it's merits, rather who is saying it.

c. Large and small size meals. Look, lets face it large size is just a tease. It's a challenge issued by restaurant and be like, bet you can't finish this. Except, even when you win, you lose. But the Asian in me is like. Oh my god Jack, why would you ever get the small when you can get 100% more with only 50% of the price. Literally arbitrage.
