Whilst it is all of these aspects, ultimately, home is where we feel anchored to. Where we feel most comfortable when we’re not “away.” Home is the place we love and the place where it is an environment offering affection and security. It is of course, relative.
Shout out to Justin Wong for an awesome trivia night! Sorry I didn't update last week, I was really quite busy preparing for a week of SACs.
Jack All 5 - Where is Home
Let's play the linking game. Let's start off with home since today's topic is home.
Guy one: "Why don't you play tetris at home instead of wasting all your studies?"
Me: "Because I play tetris at home as well"
You guys wouldn't understand this.
Tetris
"Catching the train is like playing human tetris, you have to get everyone's bodies to fit inside a small space."
Man, anyone who thought metro would be better than Connex are surely mistaken. Every day in the morning catching the train its like being squashed constantly for 30 solid minutes.
Bodies
Justin: I was born on the same day and same year as her.
Declan: Were you born in the same hospital because that would mean you've seen her naked?
Ah, Declan, only you could have come up with a thought like that.
Outside the Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital
Maks: Man, our number one's were really good, but out number two's were really bad...
Hockey short corner format's, not toiletry expulsions.
As second speaker for debating
Jackson: Napoleon was Italian.
=.= Chris Smart also said Europe was a country. Debating makes talking to Girl's easy.
Storytime!
The two teams went and got changed. They were talking still talking about the game when Anna walked into the girl’s change room.
“Hey, superstar, gutsy defence there!”
“Yeah, way to go!”
“You showed up that guy!”
“Dane is such a grouch!”
Acknowledging everyone’s praise, Anna quickly got changed and walked out towards the bus station carrying her stick in her stick bag. Tired, she was eager to get home and tell her mum about the game.
*
Dane sat in the change room, head clasped his hand, just dumbfounded. She had been comprehensively beaten by a girl.
Frank came over.
“Don’t be too hard on yourself.”
“You just didn’t get beaten by a girl. Twice.”
Frank laughed, “Nothing wrong with being beaten by a girl, I’ll see you tomorrow, mate.”
“Arsehole” Dane said.
Frank just waved walking off.
*
Anna sat waiting at one of those hediously small bus shelters. She buried her head in her bag looking for her library book. She didn’t notice a group of teenagers walk up to her.
“Hey, girly, we need money for a bus ticket!” The leader said.
Anna looked up, surprise written all over her face. Standing right in her face was a teenager who towered above her. One of those giants who muscle density is matched only by the density of their skull.
“I’m sorry, I don’t have any money.” Emma said staring the speaker dead in the eye unflinchingly.
One of the teenagers behind them cracked their knuckles threateningly.
“Are you sure? We could look for you if you like…”
Anna made a show of reaching into her bag. She whipped out her stick and bashed it into the gonads (penis area) of one of thugs. She then ran.
“Get her!” the boy whose balls hurt groaned.
“Come back here you, b****”
“You wish” Anna thought.
Ahead she saw someone.
