Hey guys! I apologize for not updating this during the week but I've been pretty sick.

A few people now has asked me whether I believe in God. Why is it that, I know the Lord's Prayer, but don't take communion. Or why I make the sign of the Cross before I take a short corner, yet I wouldn't be able to recite the Hail Mary. Or indeed why I take a blessing, but seem so very disinterested during masses and the Eucharist.

Even as I write this my mum is at Catholic church listening to Mass. I'm not going to be saying she's celebrating Mass but she is at a church. I've read much of the Bible and I agree with a lot of it. Christianity preaches a lot of great messages and provides a lot good guidance to a lot of people. I'm sure their lives are enriched by it.

 But in the end I am too cynical, too pessimistic and there is a general not enough faith in humanity to believe that God could be a positive influence in my life. I don't think the Catholic church would want someone like me in it.

Probably one of the better calls I've ever heard on MSN. That conversation then (d)evolved into a huge Liberal versus Labor debate, which I really could not be bothered weighing into.

Me: Dr Davies sends out Physics Checkpoints. Declan uses substitute. Physics Checkpoint uses "Due Friday." Declan's substitute takes damages for Declan.
