My Birthday (was 2 months ago)

Hey Guys! So I was reading through my old posts and I realise I never wrote a post about my own birthday.

*Gasp*

Criminal I know. I can pretty much hear you guys calling the police.

My birthday was on the 23rd October, a week before swotvac. I'd planned it about a week ahead (as opposed to... ) and contacted everyone and found that my birthday was the only day when everyone was free. Which I found quite nice.

It was a great night, not one I'm about to forget any time soon. I orginially planned to go to Sofias, but my parents had decided to have dinner there and really there's no humane way to have Sofias twice in the one week.

So we went to Taco Bill.

Not going to lie, I'm not going back there any time soon.

Afterwards we walked to the Rivoli and watch The Help. Great movie. Then Mina and I covered the distance between Rivoli and Camberwell station in 3 minutes. Solid effort.

The night wasn't anything fancy.It didn't involve a 3 course meal. It wasn't at a club. There wasn't a million people there. It was simply what I wanted, A group of close friends spending the night together.

These are the friends I troll. The ones annoy. The ones that stay up till 2 talking to me. The one that texts me to make sure I get home on time. These are the ones that make University bearable. The ones go out with. The ones that splits the bill with me. The ones that keep me on my toes.

These are the friends that has kept me smiling all year.

And thats all I can ask for.

My friends got me this voucher for Ted's Camera. A few of them knew that I had been looking to replace my broken gorilla pod with a tripod for quite a while.

When I finally redeemed it about a month ago, I deliberately drove back to make sure I got it back.

And with it, I got this tripod.

At maximum height its a little shorter than me. With 2 legs extended, it is still sturdier than anything I have ever used. It has a spirit leveler, 3 axis of pivot and full portrait capabilites.

This is the best birthday present I have ever had. This tripod will hopefully last me till the end. I don't forsee myself getting another one.
And everytime I pick it up, I'll think of you guys.
