Hey guys!
Whelp I've missed yet another weeks of post, so uh my bad.
Been a relatively intense couple of weeks. I went to the Engineering Ball, this time last week. It certainly was one of the more enjoyable balls that I've been to and I had a lot of fun meeting new people and getting all dat dance out of the system.
Its extrodinary now, how will need a special occassion where we need to dress up in silly costumes and with other people to let our hair down and enjoy ourselves.
Why can't we do it normally? Are our normal lives just not fun and is just a bit boring?
The photo of the crow on the branch was taken at Werribee Zoo on a recent trip with fotoholics.
Again it was a absolutely wonderful trip where I took a lot of wonderful photos which I can add to my increasingly large folios of photos. It seems I produce a lot of best work when I'm with fotoholics.
Because I'm more comfortable shooting with other people who just happens to be taking shots at the same time?
Maybe its the people that we're with that allows us to enjoy ourselves? I caught up with some very old mates from high school the other day. I haven't seen them for a about a year and it was really quite nice just talking to them again and seeing where they were in life and how they were progressing through the years.
They say fun, alleviates stress. Maybe when we're stressed we just have a lower expectation of what fun is. When I said the engineering ball was wonderfully fun maybe it was actually just really dull, but I just really wanted to have fun.
Whether, its the product of all the people around you, the stress of it all or the smiling friends and the atmosphere they create; fun is whatever you make of it.
