TV Show Season Finals

I should just make blogging on the train home Wednesday night a thing now.

So apparently blogger gave all the Australian bloggers a .au extension at the end of our domain name. That's pretty cool. www.doaabc.blogspot.com will alway redirect here but the actual website is now ww.doaabc.blogspot.com.au. So kudos to google for doing that for us. :)

Last week was the end of the American television season, where a lot of shows had their final episodes for the season. Final seasons always has better ratings than other episodes during the season. This year, I had been following quite  few season and all of the season ends were really good!

A good season end closes, the year's episodes and it needs to give the viewer a sense of conclusion to the plot lines that were developed during the season. Its not an enviable task, where the scriptwriter has to allow the story to reach its climax and give some conclusions to the show's plot lines.

And it feels good, when the show finishes off and I, as a viewer, believes that all the time invested into the show, in watching the 22ish episodes, week in and week out was worth the investment, both in terms of time and emotionally. If I thought, I could have skipped half the season and still understood the ending then it was probably not the best ending in the world.

For the most part, all the shows I watched got it right, especially Elementary which concluded with a wonderful plot twist and concluded with all the season's  episodes wrapped up nicely.

I got so caught up talking to my friends, today that I forgot to use the toilet. I'm going to be edgy writing the rest of this post on the train because I really need to take a piss.

Friday night, I caught up with an old friend. It was a wonderful to see Alice again and it's really nice to see that even after so long we're still on the same wavelength about many things.

Which is weird  you reckon after a few years not really talking that there would be some change in our personalities.

Surely, we have to change year to year but maybe just not the core part of us?
