Hey Guys! Quick shoutout to Declan for organizing Ice Skating and a shoutout to Thomas for organising movies. Both days were really fun and I got some nice photos from them,

Formal Part 3 - 5 Random Comments

I considered writing about what happen during the formal and what happen in the limo. But then I decided not to for the following reason

1. There are not enough words in the English language to describe the experience
2. I feel that the experience should not be made public and what not
3. I think my readers will be a little less strained by the video I have produced instead.

Someone: Have you told M that she's going to be the only white person there.

Me: I think she can kind of guess

Someone: Well tell her anyway

Me: Horkay... (tells her)

M: That's ok! I play in the school table tennis team. Everyone's Asian there.

:P. I think we all acted pretty normally which meant we swore a bit in Chinese, and conducted a few conversation in Chinese.

Organiser: Hey Jackson can I use the home phone?

Me: I don't have a home phone.

Organiser: um what?

Me: I don't have internet, and I don't have a home phone.

Thankfully it arrived on time.

Me: You came here just for the food didn't you?

Artist: Of course! Takes my bread roll

Me: *ignores* thinking I'll get it back

Artist: 5 minutes later eats it.

The starter was ordinary but everything else was wtfawesome. It was really surprising the served nuts considering.

Me: Yeah, Bob is a bit of a gimp

M: Whats a Gimp.

Me: Good question, hey Artist what's a Gimp

Artist: Bob

So what does Gimp actually mean.

Me: OMG we haven't taken a group photo!

Organiser: We'll take one now

*Takes a picture out in the car park*

Me: So we could have taken it with the backdrop and look good but we chose the carpark.

Organiser: Yep.

It turned out great.

All in all the formal was really quite fun. Probably not quite what I expected but certainly better than last years (a lot.) For once I'm at a lost of what to say. The memories I have from the is the one I expected to keep. They're not the one us gathering around a person and then "party boying them" but simply conversation. Which for some reason is not what I expected. At. All. Maybe it was conversations that was lacking from last years?

Thank you to everyone who came. The atmosphere created was extraordinary. It was not the food, the DJ or the setting nor was it the occasion. It was us, those who attended that created the night.

Last but not least, thank you to the Straw Hat Heroes. The best group of guys anyone could ask for. We all contribute something different.
