Short 6 - Being crazy

Hey guys! This is my fourth year blogging. Much like my own life, I have to admit I try and plan out all my blogs before hand, even if its just in my head.

I WANT TO TAKE A ROAD TRIP AROUND AUSTRALIA ESPECIALLY WEST AND NORTH. ANYONE WANT TO COME WITH ME. BETWEEN DECEMBER AND MARCH. I WILL TAKE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME (year 12). Email/facebook/w/e me if you have an intreast.

And my life is similar. I really don't have the courage or general sense of retardedness to sieze the moment and not worry about the consequences. It's probably one of my greatest flaws. For some reason resonsibility always comes first. I think I'll tell the story of one of few times I decided to be spontaneous.

It was a Thursday afternoon. Coming close to mid years we were beginning to panic and start having those ridiculous twilight lectures. We also had debating that night. It was secret topic and we had to be back by 6. The lecture was scheduled to be finished at 5 and so 1 hour to get into the city and get back. We should be right.

But then it dragged on and on and on and on and on... and on

and on

and on

So we weren't on the train until like quater past 5.

We could still make it. I said, "yeah we can make it as long as the train doesn't get cancelled."

the whole time we were on the train we debated about whether we should go to MC (Melbourne central, apparently only Asians use that short hand) or Flinder Street Station. (Amusingly we don't shorten it FS)

We went to flinder street and we were out of the gates and running through the crowds trying to get to the bumpers. Validate our myki and then waited for the traffic lights. Turns green. Go!

In our candy coat uniform we cut a swath through the incoming crowd. Literally it was a swath. It was awesome. Get to maccas and waste some time deciding what to eat. Get to the counter and order really fast. Even the serving lady could see that we were in a rush. It was like

"iwantalargebigmacmealwithnoiceinthedrinkandhewantsalargemcchickenmealkthxbai."

I also got a nice green merobillia green promotion glass. That was free! Obviously I couldn't leave it behind because that would be not very Asian of me.

So we run back to the station. That's not as easy as it sounds. Running with a paper bag in one hand and a drink in the other. Its more like a really fast walk because you really can't swing your arm back and forth. run back to flinder street. I think we had 30 minutes left by the time we get on the train. We just charged on to get a seat.

Onomnomnomnom those big macs. Big Mistake. Investigate nutrional value.

We get off at Richmond and hear the fateful announcement. "The Glen Waverley train has been delayed. We don't know when it will arive."

o.O

Start debating (oh the irony) our choices. Alamein arrives.

"We could run to heyington."

"What from here?"

"From Burnley."

We stare at each other for a moment. Then we both turn simultaneously for the Alamein train. I get flatten like a sardine but we till manage to get on.

"You should probably finish that Big Mac and then throw it out."

Attempts the GTFO train and throw stuff in the bin.

Get off train.
Throw stuff in bin.
Try to get back on.
Cannot be opened.
I QQ.

Chris runs to the door that is open and block it from closing using his bare fingers.

Get back on.

So in the end we ran the distance from Burnley to Heyington. In sweaty uniform, having just finished a large serving of Mc Donalds. 2.1km.

We get to heyington and bang. The Glenwaverley Train arrives before us.

WE COULD HAVE CAUGHT THE TRAIN BACK AND WE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO RUN!

Win debate.

hmmm you wanted a comment jackson, so here it is.
its a good blog, i look forward to reading it so keep up the good work. i kinda miss the quotes, but frantic everyday stories of school, VCE and friends are cool too. btw just something to consider: does the picture you have at the top of this particular post relate to any of the actual content?
